Im from Florida but when i travel to Maryland I love and enjoy this place!!!! Tous les jours is a magical place. All of restaurants in the are are very good.

Rio is a great place to get outside for the day. They have park areas for kids, merry go round, bench’s to relax. Plenty of ducks around too. I enjoy doing a few laps around the lake after a breakfast. 🥳 Usually at night they have live music, sometimes fitness classes. Tons of restaurants like Guapo’s, Yard House, Copper Canyon and many more. Dave & Buster’s and a Movie Theater. In the summer they have boats for the lake. Overall a fun place to visit every once in a while.

Rio in Gaithersburg is a fantastic place to visit! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for families, couples, or even a casual day out. There’s a great mix of restaurants, shops, and entertainment, so you can easily spend several hours there without getting bored. The waterfront views are beautiful, especially during sunset, and the walking areas are clean and well-maintained. It’s also very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for them to enjoy. Overall, it’s a great spot to relax, dine, and have fun. Highly recommend—definitely a 5-star experience!

Next door family oriented area. Always good time. Many good restaurants, great lake walk good parking. Easy to visit and always a good time. Dream come through, would be an intimate boutique coffee shop who serve mean cappuccino in ceramic cup not plastic cup with plastic lid. Please make it happen!!!

Rio is my magical place; simply walking around it de-stresses me. There are lots of different restaurants and shops; you can find a little bit of everything, but what I like best are the restaurants and walking along the waterfront, watching the ducks and fish swimming.

Beautiful shopping mall cum lakeside park to hang out. Multiple shops to do the shopping, including Target for everything. Lots of restaurants to eating in, and our favorite is Guapos cantina. An AMC is there to watch movies. Even if you don't want to spend time without spending money, you can actually be there on the lakeside. There is a boardwalk to walk around and it's decorated with lights around the holidays. And the lakeside is pet friendly!! There are ample parking, you just have to be patient! We're often there, at least once in a month.

Stayed at the Marriott and ate at Guapos, lovely atmosphere with lots of food options, parking isn’t free but the lake is beautiful and accessible

An effective combination of successful commercial and recreational developments -- a mall (hosting Mini-IKEA among others), plenty of decent food options, and beautiful man-made lake with supporting infrastructure. Plenty of free parking. Our favorite spot so far has been Copper Canyon Grill.
